Tunable fluorescence and magnetic properties of ceria- organic core- shell hollow structures

چکیده

In this study, mesoscopic ceria- organic core–shell hollow spheres with tunable luminescence and magnetism were demonstrated. The layer was grown on the surface of ceria by reaction citric acid solution ethylenediamine via hydrothermal process. With increasing time from 0 to 6 h, phase varies discontinuous carbon- rich dots a nanometrical which contains randomly distributed Ce3+- clusters. growth process accelerates formation defect layers spheres, while inhibiting further reduction inside shell. synergistic effect formed structural changes underlying enables all samples exhibit ferromagnetic luminescent properties at room temperature. strength closely depends continuity content Ce3+-rich spheres. enhanced fluorescence, especially blue red emissions, is attributed defective structure composition phase.
